Your path to progress

Growth takes consistency, curiosity, and a little courage, and we, dance teachers/ coaches, are here to support you every step of the way!

Here are some ways to level up your dancing:

The More You Dance, The Better it Gets:

  • Keep Coming to Class
Repetition helps build confidence and body memory. Every class deepens your foundation and understanding of movement.

  • Join Practice Sessions
These low-pressure sessions help reinforce what you’ve learned and give you space to ask questions.

  • Practice with a Dedicated Partner
Having someone to explore moves and troubleshoot with makes a huge difference.

  • Take Private Lessons
Personalized coaching helps refine your technique and accelerate your growth.

  • Dance at Socials
Social dancing is where learning turns into real-time fun. You’ll improve connection, timing, and adaptability, and meet great people too!

  • Attend Dance Events & Weekenders
These immersive weekends offer workshops, social dancing, and performances that will inspire you and expand your network.

Performance & Competitive Opportunities

  • Perform with a Team or a dedicated Partner
Performing gives you a goal to work toward and builds your stage presence and confidence.

  • Do a Pro-Am Routine or Stricly Swing (You + a teacher)
A great way to experience performing or competing with professional guidance and support.

  • Try Competitions (Jack & Jill, Strictly, etc.)
Competing can sharpen your skills, focus your learning, and give you new motivation.

Other Ways to Keep Growing

  • Watch & Reflect
Record yourself, review class videos, or watch inspiring dancers online to better understand movement and musicality.

  • Stay Curious & Keep Playing
Ask questions, try new rhythms, and enjoy the exploration. Growth doesn’t have to be serious to be effective.
