Rostislav Toporski is a celebrated dance instructor with over 30 years of experience, renowned for his dedication to helping others connect through movement. As a certified teacher with the American International Dancers Association, he has guided countless students in mastering the art of dance. He specializes in ballroom dance and West Coast Swing and was formerly a rhythm coach for the MIT dance team.

Rostislav’s deep understanding of body mechanics, enhanced by his training as an Anatomy Trains and Franklin Method graduate, allows him to offer a unique and effective approach to dance instruction. His recent achievements include coaching competitive dancers who have excelled in national competitions and developing innovative teaching techniques that integrate anatomy and movement principles.

Born in Ukraine and inspired by his mother, a renowned dancer and choreographer, Rostislav has traveled extensively, enriching his teaching with diverse cultural influences. After moving to the US in the early 2000s, he trained with world-renowned coaches and competed in 9 Dance American Styles, focusing on smooth dances. He has been awarded the Rising Star Champion title and has been a finalist in multiple prestigious competitions across the US.
